SIMULUS 6

The 6th Annual National Conference of PediSTARS in Healthcare Simulation, SIMULUS 6, was held on a virtual platform on April 24th and 25th, 2021. This annual event, known for its global participation of simulation enthusiasts, continued its tradition of bringing together professionals from around the world. Despite being held virtually this year due to the pandemic, the event garnered equal enthusiasm and participation. The conference saw a total of 211 participants, including 47 national and 27 international faculty members. Participants and faculty hailed from various countries, including the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and India.

SIMULUS 1

PediSTARS India and Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad hosted India’s first National conference, SIMULUS on 12th September, 2014 and 2 days Training the Trainers workshop on September 13-14, 2014 at Hyderabad, India. This was the first major event in India focussing on introducing the concepts of simulation based education and how to integrate it into regular training in Pediatrics. The faculty included eight world’s best experts in Pediatric simulation from USA, UKand NewZealand and 5 local simulation practitioners.!.

SIMULUS 2

The 2nd Annual conference of PediSTARS was conducted at Rainbow Children’s Hospital Bangalore on 6th March 2016.
This meeting discussed about the role of Simulation in the field of resuscitation. It saw the attendance of many international and National experts with attendance of more than 100 delegates. This conference honoured Dr.Vinay Nadkarni from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Dr.Sunit Singhi, Ex- Head of the Department of Pediatrics and EMRI (Dr.Ramana Rao) with PediSTARS excellence awards for their immense contribution in the field of resuscitation..
