Activity Report

Pediatric Simulation Training and Research Society was formed with the idea of propagating use of health care simulation to improve the quality of care provided to sick children. This society over last few years has been active in promoting use of simulation in the form of Trainers Workshop aimed at stakeholders of Pediatric Critical Care educators and conducting various other workshops like Simulation Training of Emergency Pediatrics (STEP), Simulation of Critical Care Emergencies and Newborn emergencies (NEO SIM). These workshops are aimed at Pediatricians and focusses on specific skills needed to take care of sick children. These workshops are remarkable since they are conducted in multidisciplinary fashion where doctors and nurses have to work together as a team to manage a simulated emergency. This society also has represented India in various international forums and has affiliation with various important international societies like Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) and International Pediatric Simulation Society (IPSS)
